The Shipping & Receiving Associate role is onsite in Elyria, OH, with starting pay of $21 per hour and pay of $22 per hour after 90 days. The associate supports United Initiators’ Elyria Operations team at a specialty chemical manufacturing company. The role manages the safe and accurate movement of incoming materials and outgoing products, using material-handling equipment and inventory systems. Accurate receiving, storage, and shipping help maintain facility operations and product flow.

What you'll do

• Verify inbound materials against purchase orders and SAP entries
• sample incoming raw materials
• unload tankers, trucks, and trailers
• operate forklifts and material-handling equipment
• store and rotate materials using FIFO
• perform SAP transactions and cycle counts
• prepare and ship customer orders
• scan and verify orders
• load trucks and secure cargo
• complete shipping paperwork
• follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.

Why this role

First shift, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.; weekend overtime may be needed. Requires a high school diploma or GED and ability to lift 55 pounds regularly and up to 110 pounds occasionally. Sponsorship is not available.
