Project Chief – Exterior Trim is an onsite position in Auburn Hills, MI; compensation is not specified. The role coordinates exterior trim design, development, and validation for assigned vehicle programs. The Project Chief leads matrixed engineering coordination to meet program objectives for quality, cost, investment, weight, timing, technical performance, and function. The position supports vehicle development from concept through production by coordinating suppliers, resolving issues, and managing engineering and part-change activities.

What you'll do

• Lead and coordinate design, development, and validation activities for exterior trim systems
• coordinate supplier and sourcing activities
• resolve issues
• author source packages
• manage GIMS, part changes, cost collaboration, and Engineering Design and Development activities
• provide matrix leadership to assigned design and development engineers
• coordinate with the vehicle line Body Sub-System Technical Manager. Local travel in the USA and Canada is required.
