Hospice Medical Director

The Hospice Medical Director provides expert clinical oversight and leadership for hospice physicians across multiple branches in Alabama, including Montgomery, Demopolis, Selma, and Auburn. What you'll do

• Oversee medical services delivered by hospice physicians
• certify and recertify hospice eligibility
• conduct and supervise face-to-face patient visits
• lead physician recruitment and training
• provide 24/7/365 on-call physician coverage coordination
• maintain medical documentation
• participate in interdisciplinary group (IDG) meetings
• monitor pharmacy utilization
• collaborate on QAPI initiatives
• serve as a community liaison.
