What you'll do

• Preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Assisting with tax planning and research, identifying tax savings opportunities for clients.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current tax practices and changes in tax law.
• Working closely with clients to gather necessary information for tax return completion and compliance.
• Assisting in IRS and state tax audits, responding to tax notices, and resolving tax disputes.
• Providing support to the tax team on various consulting projects including tax credits, mergers and acquisitions, and tax provision work.
• Ensuring the confidentiality and security of client information.
• Collaborating with other team members to improve and streamline processes, enhancing the overall efficiency of the tax department.
