What you'll do
- Assist with menu planning
- prepare food using planned menus and standardized recipes while following food preparation regulations
- maintain food quality, nutrition, portion control, temperature, and presentation
- maintain sanitation and safety in food preparation areas
- clean cooking areas and equipment
- consult with the supervisor on menus, care planning, food preparation, and therapeutic diets.
