Personal Care Aide

The Personal Care Aide role is onsite in clients’ homes in Albuquerque, NM. Compensation is $16–$17 per hour. Heart is Home Cooperative Care describes its work as supporting clients’ comfort, dignity, and independence at home. The aide provides hands-on assistance with personal routines and activities of daily living while respecting each client’s privacy and independence. The role also observes and communicates changes, follows individualized care plans and safety procedures, and collaborates with the care team.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• provide toileting and incontinence care as appropriate
• assist with mobility, walking, positioning, and transfers
• help with eating and daily activities
• support established personal care routines and independence
• provide companionship and reassurance
• observe and communicate changes in condition, behavior, or needs
• follow care plans and safety procedures
• maintain privacy and confidentiality
• collaborate with the care team.
