What you'll do

• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, common areas, and other hospital or clinic spaces
• sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish floors
• clean surfaces and fixtures
• empty trash and replenish supplies
• sometimes change bed sheets and handle linens
• use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to hospital safety rules
• potentially use specialized infection-control equipment
• report broken equipment or maintenance problems
• follow safety procedures and attend required training.
