The High-Pressure Die Casting Repair Technician role is onsite in Fort Smith, AR, with compensation of $28–$38 per hour. The technician supports engineering and manufacturing operations by maintaining production tooling. This role repairs, maintains, troubleshoots, and improves high-pressure die casting dies and related tooling to meet production and quality standards, reduce downtime, and extend die life.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds on die-casting and trim dies
- inspect and troubleshoot tooling
- repair components using welding, machining, grinding, polishing, and fitting
- maintain cooling, vent, and ejector systems
- interpret drawings and specifications
- conduct dimensional inspections
- document maintenance and recommend improvements
- support die tryouts, startups, and emergency repairs while following safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
