The Education Mentor/Coach Manager role is onsite in Richland, OH, with base pay of $27.56 per hour. OHCAC Head Start serves children from birth through age five across learning centers in Marion, Morrow, Crawford, and Richland counties. The role supports teachers through on-site coaching, mentoring, observation, and feedback so they can strengthen teaching practices and promote positive outcomes for children. It also contributes to effective classroom operations, staff development, and compliance with Head Start and Ohio Department of Child and Youth Licensing Rules.

What you'll do

• Support children’s safety and physical well-being and effective daily classroom operations
• use the Frogstreet Curriculum to develop and implement lesson plans and assess activity effectiveness
• provide on-site coaching and mentoring
• observe teaching practices and provide feedback
• support teachers’ professional development
• use Practice-Based Coaching cycles of goal planning, focused observation, and reflection
• participate in and provide in-service training
• work with the Education Supervising Manager to monitor employee productivity, responsibilities, and work habits.
