What you'll do

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
• develop estimates across design phases
• perform quantity takeoffs for prefab cold-formed steel framing
• prepare trade bid packages and solicit proposals
• level bids and identify scope gaps
• prepare budgets, comparisons, narratives, assumptions, clarifications, and exclusions
• evaluate value engineering options
• track design changes and budget or schedule impacts
• coordinate constructability reviews
• support procurement planning, schedules, GMP proposals, negotiated pricing, and project handoffs
• maintain cost and estimating records
• use estimating software, BIM tools, and Excel.
