Engineering Manager

The manager develops engineers, provides technical leadership for engineered-to-order equipment, and improves the standards and processes used to design and deliver machines. The role connects engineering with sales, manufacturing, assembly, quality, purchasing, and service to improve execution and support customer delivery commitments.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, recruit, and develop mechanical engineers
• review designs and guide custom equipment projects from concept through installation and startup
• provide hands-on engineering support
• coordinate with cross-functional teams
• develop engineering standards, procedures, checklists, and best practices
• improve drawing, bill of materials, design-review, release, and change-control processes
• standardize proven designs
• improve quality and reduce errors and rework
• introduce practical tools and processes
• establish engineering metrics.
