The operator sets up, runs, maintains, and troubleshoots a Komori sheet-fed press to produce high-quality print products on schedule. The role monitors production and quality, supports the assistant operator, and maintains safe, orderly work practices.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate the sheet-fed press
• review job orders and production priorities
• lead and train the assistant operator
• prepare the press crew for subsequent jobs
• monitor press performance, quantities, defects, and quality
• perform basic maintenance and repairs
• recycle waste
• complete production records
• maintain housekeeping and safety practices
• report hazards and attend meetings.
