Lead Substation Physical Engineer

The Lead Substation Physical Engineer is an onsite position based in Atlanta, GA, with an annual salary range of $107,900 to $195,050. This role supports the Leidos Power Delivery Services Team, which provides critical expertise to utility customers across the country. The role focuses on delivering high-impact substation physical design projects for utility systems ranging from 12 kV to 500 kV. The engineer will apply expertise in digital logic and AC/DC circuits to develop safe, reliable, and efficient substation layouts.

What you'll do

• Lead substation physical design projects
• perform QA/QC reviews on design packages
• design and review one-lines, three-lines, grounding layouts, and foundation designs
• create bills of materials
• conduct site visits to gather data and validate designs.
