Package Delivery Driver (Seasonal, Full- and Part-Time)

The Package Delivery Driver role is onsite in Gaylord, MI, with compensation of $22.75 per hour and overtime paid at time and a half. Seasonal runs are scheduled from October 18, 2026, through January 12, 2027. D.E.K. Delivery is a locally operated delivery service partner serving customers from its Gaylord warehouse. The driver loads and delivers packages along a navigated route, using a smartphone for scanning, GPS navigation, and administrative tasks. Safe vehicle operation, timely stops, customer service, and communication with the support team help ensure successful deliveries.

What you'll do

• Report to the warehouse for package loadout and route preparation
• load and unload packages
• follow the navigated route and complete stops on time
• operate the delivery vehicle safely and conduct pre-trip inspections
• scan and manage packages using a smartphone
• provide professional customer service
• communicate with the support team
• assist fellow drivers on rescue calls when teammates need route help
• return to the warehouse for closeout. Requires age 21 or older and a valid state driver’s license held for at least four years
• no CDL is required.

Why this role

Delivery vehicle, gas, safety shoes, handheld technology, uniform, and safety and administrative gear are provided. Shifts are approximately 10 hours, starting around noon; full-time is 4–5 days weekly and part-time is 1–3 days weekly. Weekend availability is a plus, not a requirement.
