Material Specialist

What you'll do

• Receive materials and verify paperwork and condition
• prepare receiving and hazardous-material manifests
• scan packages and process radioactive materials
• tag equipment and follow handling, storage, and temperature requirements
• distribute materials internally
• pack and ship materials and prepare shipping documents
• follow and train others on GMP procedures
• maintain safety and accurate documentation
• prioritize workload, address customer requests, support process improvements, and assist materials staff as needed.

Why this role

Material handling or warehousing experience and a valid California driver’s license are required. College coursework, leadership experience, safe chemical handling, and a HazMat endorsement are preferred. Forklift experience is listed; lifting up to 40 pounds and extended standing are required.
