The role installs, tests, maintains, and troubleshoots fire sprinkler systems while ensuring work meets project requirements, safety protocols, and applicable codes. It contributes to fire and life safety system delivery through field installation, inspection, documentation, and coordination with project stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Install and commission sprinkler piping, fittings, heads, hangers, valves, and related components
• perform flow tests, pressure checks, and alarm verification
• troubleshoot malfunctions and repair leaks
• conduct preventive maintenance and inspections
• interpret blueprints, hydraulic calculations, and shop drawings
• lay out piping
• follow OSHA, NFPA, and site safety requirements
• document work
• coordinate with foremen, contractors, inspectors, and project managers
• support junior helpers or apprentices
• maintain tools and equipment
• and participate in the on-call rotation.
