The Assistant Manager — Convenience Store role is onsite in Wilmington, NC. Pay is $15–$17 per hour. The assistant manager helps the Store Manager maintain store performance, lead staff, and ensure coverage across shifts. The role supports sales, inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and a clean, welcoming store while stepping in as acting manager when needed.

What you'll do

• Support day-to-day store operations
• run the register and assist customers
• coach team members on upselling products and promotions
• help hire, train, and lead staff
• act as manager when the Store Manager is off
• handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising
• maintain store and exterior cleanliness
• manage team schedules
• handle cash, deposits, and store financials.
