Restoration Mitigation Lead Technician

Job overview

The Restoration Mitigation Lead Technician role is onsite in Birmingham, AL; compensation is not specified, with pay described as DOE. The technician reports to the Water Mitigation Project Manager and supports restoration mitigation work at job sites. The lead technician carries out assigned work orders, performs demolition and sets drying equipment, and directs laborers’ daily tasks. The role also tracks labor hours, stocks the work vehicle, maintains safe and clean job sites, and coordinates completion of scoped work for processing.

What you'll do

• Attend daily morning meetings to confirm the schedule
• execute assigned work orders
• perform demolition, set drying equipment, and complete other assigned mitigation tasks
• direct laborers and document their hours
• notify the Superintendent when scoped tasks are complete
• stock the work vehicle
• maintain clean and safe job sites in accordance with OSHA requirements and company procedures
• manage multiple projects and address customer questions and concerns
• complete weekly vehicle inspections
• participate in the required on-call rotation, including during catastrophic events.
