Mobile Crisis Counselor — South Fulton/Clayton Area

Job overview

The Mobile Crisis Counselor role is based in the Atlanta area and surrounding counties, with community-based mobile response; compensation is $28 per hour for provisionally licensed clinicians and $30 per hour for independently licensed clinicians. The position provides crisis response services in community settings. As a first responder, the counselor conducts face-to-face clinical assessments and responds rapidly to children and adults experiencing behavioral health, intellectual or developmental disability, or autism-related crises. The work supports crisis stabilization through prompt, professional, and compassionate care.

What you'll do

• Provide community-based, face-to-face clinical assessments and rapid response to people in crisis
• respond in settings including homes, residential and treatment settings, schools, hospital emergency departments, jails, and social service settings

Why this role
