Saw Operator

The Saw Operator role is onsite in Stevensville, MD, with a schedule of 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay is $17.00–$20.00 per hour. Hydrasearch manufactures fluid-transfer and control systems for maritime, aerospace, and defense applications. This role cuts raw materials to precise dimensions and maintains inventory and traceability so production teams have accurately tracked materials. The operator also supports material movement, equipment upkeep, safety, and quality verification.

What you'll do

• Operate band and cold saws to cut material to work orders
• measure and inspect cuts
• verify material type, size, and heat/lot traceability
• maintain labels
• track stock, usage, and remnants in the ERP/MRP system
• operate forklifts to load, unload, and stage material
• perform routine machine maintenance, including blade changes and coolant management
• follow safety protocols and support first-piece verification.
