The Food Service Utility role is onsite at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. The stated pay range is $13.00–$18.00 per hour. Chartwells Higher Ed supports campus food service at educational facilities. The role maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. It supports safe, sanitary food service by cleaning surfaces, handling supplies and waste, and assisting with setup and deliveries.

What you'll do

• Sweep and mop floors
• wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces
• remove trash
• transfer supplies and equipment
• assist with banquet and front-of-house setup
• load, unload, and deliver supplies and products
• distribute utensils and portable equipment
• follow sanitation and safety requirements.
