The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Project Operator / Co-Pilot role is onsite and field-based in Detroit, MI, with test-drive travel from Detroit and other Northern states to Canada. It is full-time. Compensation is not specified. The role supports TSMG’s ADAS data collection project. The operator works alongside a driver and coordination team to monitor vehicle systems, annotate roadway events, and maintain accurate data records during test drives. The work helps ensure collected data and backups are complete and usable for the project.

What you'll do

• Monitor onboard system status, sensors, and data-recording software during drives
• identify and report malfunctions, data irregularities, and connectivity issues
• use a touchscreen to tag and categorize road objects and events
• manage storage media and operate data-copying stations
• verify backups, label data, and transfer it safely
• start, stop, and monitor measurement software
• assist with system configuration and technical troubleshooting
• use remote desktop connections and other digital tools
• communicate route progress, data status, and system conditions to the driver and local coordinator
• follow operating procedures and contribute to workflow improvements.
