Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Local Traveler, onsite in Wing, ND. Salary range $17.00 - $25.50 per hour. This role supports Good Samaritan's mission of providing quality care to seniors. The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), following infection prevention policies.

What you'll do

• Serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care.
• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
• Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan.
• Provides assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities.
• Assists the resident in transferring, repositioning, and walking.
• Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining.
• Assists residents with meals and snacks.
• Aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes.
• Communicates resident's changing condition to the charge nurse.
• Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs.
• Provides housekeeping and laundry services.

What we're looking for

Education

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Experience

3 months experience in Long Term Care required
