Transit Operations Manager

The manager directs daily transit operations and leads supervisory staff while overseeing performance, workforce planning, budgets, procurement, and compliance. The position also administers the District’s Drug and Alcohol Testing Program and coordinates with internal departments, agencies, and community partners.

What you'll do

• Direct daily transit operations
• supervise, coach, and develop supervisory staff
• monitor service performance, staffing, and workforce utilization
• support departmental budgets and procurement
• ensure compliance with policies, labor agreements, safety programs, and regulations
• administer the Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
• coordinate with internal departments and external partners
• support training, labor relations, and assigned projects.
