Scientist, Quality Control – 2nd or 3rd Shift

The Scientist, Quality Control role is onsite in Princeton, New Jersey, on either a Monday–Friday second shift from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. or third shift from 12:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Compensation is $70,000–$90,000 per year. Orca Bio is establishing East Coast manufacturing operations to support its cell-therapy pipeline and future product availability.

What you'll do

• Perform routine quality-control testing on raw materials, process intermediates, and final cell-therapy products
• conduct laboratory tests including flow cytometry and cell-based assays
• document testing in compliance with cGMP and company procedures
• assist with batch records and SOPs
• maintain and qualify equipment
• prepare reagents and aliquot samples
• participate in assay transfer and validation
• support technical problem resolution and cross-functional quality work.
