Job overview

The Head of Cloud and Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure role is hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA, with pay of $105–$115 per hour. The consulting engagement is with a financial services company and may transition into a permanent senior leadership position. The role assesses the current infrastructure environment, sets a future-state strategy and transformation roadmap, and begins executing cloud and AI infrastructure initiatives. Its purpose is to improve enterprise performance, reliability, security, scalability, and cost while aligning infrastructure with business and governance needs.

What you'll do

• Assess cloud, on-premises, network, platform, and AI infrastructure
• provide strategic and technical leadership
• establish hybrid- and multi-cloud workload standards and governance
• advance cloud-native patterns
• develop cloud cost strategies with FinOps
• design and support on-premises AI clusters
• partner with AI/ML engineering, security, risk, and compliance teams
• promote Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and standardization
• present strategy and results to technical and executive audiences.
