Food Service Worker — Part-Time

Job overview

The Food Service Worker position is onsite at Ferndale Public Schools in Ferndale, MI, with a schedule that varies by day, generally 9:00 AM–2:00 PM; pay is $15.00–$15.50 per hour. What you'll do

• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare produce
• weigh and measure ingredients
• carry food and supplies safely
• store and rotate food according to procedures
• clean work areas, equipment, and utensils
• prepare and serve food using approved recipes and portion standards
• respond to customer concerns and relay information to a supervisor
• follow sanitation, safety, inventory, and cash-control procedures.
