The Senior Systems Support Engineer works onsite five days a week in Pleasanton, CA, supporting Roche instruments across the Pleasanton and Santa Clara campuses and remote external sites. The stated pay range is $66.18–$74.40 per hour. The role is part of the DSI R&D Services Team and supports medical and laboratory instrumentation. The engineer provides hardware, software, and networking support to keep instruments and related systems operational. The work includes network troubleshooting and configuration, equipment maintenance and repair, system upgrades, service documentation, and coordination with stakeholders while following applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Configure and maintain firewalls, servers, PC devices, IP addresses, and folder shares
• diagnose network connectivity issues across VLANs, switches, and servers
• perform preventative maintenance, installation and operational qualifications, hardware repairs, part replacements, and software upgrades
• document service activities, coordinate requests through ServiceNow, communicate status, participate in training, and comply with Roche safety policies and applicable FDA and ISO regulations.
