The Line Cook role is onsite in Chicago, IL, at Moneygun. Compensation is $21 per hour. The position supports the restaurant team, Central Kitchen, and management in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes. The cook prepares, cooks, and plates food; monitors freshness and production quality; and maintains an organized, sanitary kitchen. The role also coordinates with the Central Kitchen on prepared-item inventory and follows opening, closing, safety, and sanitation procedures.

What you'll do

• Prepare, cook, and plate food to quality and consistency standards
• communicate between the kitchen, restaurant team, and Central Kitchen
• check line, cooler, and dry storage for rotation and freshness
• monitor production flow and quality
• maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• follow opening and closing procedures
• track and order prepared items from the Central Kitchen.

Why this role

Part-time role initially scheduled for 1–3 shifts per week, transitioning to 1–2 shifts per week on an ongoing basis; nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
