What you'll do

• Report defective or broken lights and call lights
• clean furnishings, fixtures, resident rooms, recreational and dining areas, nurse stations, and other facility spaces
• sanitize bathrooms
• clean windows, curtains, mirrors, carpets, floors, walls, and ceilings
• keep work areas free of hazards
• dispose of waste and replace liners
• follow infection-control, universal-precaution, and fire-safety procedures
• store equipment and supplies properly
• report lost-and-found items
• set up caution and safety signs.
