The Patent Litigation Associate Attorney – IT and Engineering role is onsite in Palo Alto, CA, or Washington, DC. The associate litigates patent disputes and supports cases through research, discovery, motion practice, depositions, claim construction, and trial preparation. The role contributes technical and legal analysis to litigation strategy in technology and engineering matters.

What you'll do

• Litigate patent disputes in U.S. District Courts and before the PTAB
• conduct legal and factual research
• draft pleadings and develop case strategies
• participate in discovery on infringement, validity, and damages
• take and defend depositions
• draft dispositive motions and claim-construction briefs
• and participate in pretrial, trial, and courtroom advocacy.
