Sand Transload Operator

Job overview

The Sand Transload Operator role is onsite at a sand transload facility in Avonmore, PA. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour. Albatross Ventures’ operator reports to the Operations Manager and supports facility operations and customer service. The operator safely handles rail and conveyor operations, loading and unloading sand, and preparing rail cars for transit. The role also supports equipment upkeep, accurate operating records, and a safe, compliant worksite.

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain conveyor systems to load and unload sand into trucks
• position rail cars and direct material to the correct trucks
• inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment as needed
• maintain equipment records and load tickets
• assist drivers and keep the loading area clean
• follow safety, environmental, company, client, and regulatory procedures.
