The Instrument Technician I role is onsite in Sacramento, CA, with annual compensation of $68,000–$90,000. The technician supports plant reliability and maintenance, operating instrumentation and equipment and, once certified, calibrating, configuring, and repairing instruments and control systems. The work helps maintain process efficiency and compliance with safety requirements and applicable standards.

What you'll do

• Follow safe-work policies and participate in safety meetings
• apply hazardous-work permits, lockout/tagout, and energy-isolation procedures
• follow management-of-change procedures
• support plant inventory organization
• operate instruments and equipment
• prioritize and schedule work
• once certified, calibrate, configure, or replace field instruments, perform analyzer calibration checks, troubleshoot control circuits and process-control equipment, and test control loops
• assist with shutdowns and start-ups
• use SAP CMMS
• accept on-call duty and overtime as required.
