The Millwork Drafter / Detailer position is onsite in Laguna Hills, CA. Compensation is $38–$50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The role supports Dan Luna Exceptional Woodworking’s custom architectural millwork projects across Southern California. The position translates design intent into production-ready engineering information so projects can move efficiently from concept to installation. It develops drawings and production packages, maintains Cabinet Vision systems and libraries, and supports CNC output and shop-floor production.

What you'll do

• Engineer custom residential millwork projects in Cabinet Vision and produce technical drawings from design plans
• write, modify, and maintain User Created Standards
• generate shop drawings, assembly sheets, CNC cutsheets, machine labels, bills of materials, and cut lists
• manage the Screen-to-Machine center and troubleshoot CNC G-code and nesting
• maintain Cabinet Vision catalogs, construction methods, and tool groupings
• liaise with Hexagon technical support
• assist with field measurements, takeoffs, and material requisitions.
