Job overview
The Psychiatrist role is in person across approximately 8–12 mental health group homes statewide in Delaware, with compensation of $130 per hour. Resources for Human Development is a human services organization focused on person-centered support, independence, stability, and quality of life. The psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluations, medication assessment and management, and ongoing treatment for adults living with serious mental illness. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and community providers to support continuity and quality of care across residential programs.
What you'll do
- Provide in-person psychiatric services across approximately 8–12 group homes
- conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments
- provide medication management and ongoing treatment
- respond to psychiatric emergencies in person or by telephone as needed
- order, review, and interpret medications and laboratory testing
- complete clinical documentation
- review and update treatment plans
- collaborate with treatment teams and community providers
- support compliance with licensing standards and best practices
- travel regularly throughout Delaware.
