Registered Nurse (RN) - First Assist (Certified, Per Diem L&D)

Perform first assisting role interdependently with the surgeon during Labor & Delivery procedures. Assist with room set-up and tear down. Maintain hemostasis by direct pressure, use of appropriate surgical instruments, placement of ties, or suture ligatures under direct supervision of the surgeon. Provide local infiltration or topical application of local anesthetic at the operative site.
