Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager role is fully onsite in Verona, VA. Base salary is $88,000–$110,000 per year; a variable compensation plan bonus may be available based on company performance. Wieland manufactures, processes, and distributes copper and copper alloy products. The manager leads and optimizes plant supply chain activities, coordinating materials from suppliers through production to customers. The role balances demand, capacity, inventory, cost, and service while leading planning, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams.

What you'll do

• Establish inventory strategies
• identify and mitigate supply chain risks
• drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, process optimization, and Lean initiatives
• monitor performance metrics
• lead and develop planning, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams
• oversee production planning, scheduling, MRP, and material availability
• manage procurement and supplier performance
• direct warehouse operations and inventory control
• manage inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, freight costs, and customer delivery performance
• partner across functions to align supply chain activities with plant and business objectives.

Why this role

Requires five or more years of progressive supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment and leadership experience across planning, procurement, warehouse, and logistics. A relevant bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
