Final Build Assembly Technician

Job overview

The Final Build Assembly Technician role is onsite in Elk Grove Village, IL, and pays $18.50–$19.00 per hour. The technician works with Manufacturing Supervisors and Group Leads to meet production schedule, safety, and quality goals. The role assembles components into finished products, checks parts and completed builds for defects and fit, and records production activity. Accurate assembly and inspection help the team deliver high-quality products on schedule.

What you'll do

• Build products from work orders
• locate and stage parts
• perform pre-assembly and in-process visual inspections
• follow written and verbal assembly instructions
• use manual assembly techniques and hand or powered tools
• verify fit and function and make minor adjustments
• record production activity in the Tango system using a scanner or keyboard
• maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
