What you'll do

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate pedorthotic needs
• examine patient needs related to disease and functional loss
• formulate device designs
• select materials and take cast measurements
• fit and align devices
• evaluate and adjust devices
• instruct patients in device use
• follow up with patients and physicians
• maintain clinical notes and device quality processes
• assist clinical staff. Mentoring newly certified clinicians may be part of the role.
