The mechanic maintains and improves industrial equipment in an automated food-processing facility, supporting employee safety, food quality, and machine efficiency.

What you'll do

• Perform inspections, lubrication, and preventive maintenance
• use thermal imaging, vibration analysis, and ultrasonics to assess equipment
• troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• implement equipment and process improvements
• train operators and maintenance personnel
• research equipment specifications
• dismantle and reassemble machinery
• operate cutting, welding, and fabrication equipment
• document work in the maintenance management system
• and escalate issues as needed.
