What you'll do

• Teach running mechanics, racing strategies, conditioning, and course management
• plan and lead preseason, regular-season, and postseason activities
• develop age-appropriate training plans
• evaluate athletes and create training groups and individual development plans
• monitor health, wellness, attendance, and academic responsibilities
• coordinate practices, meets, transportation, equipment, and uniforms
• attend and supervise scheduled activities
• communicate with athletes, families, and school staff
• recruit and develop assistant coaches or volunteers as appropriate
• maintain rosters and athletic records
• follow school and athletic association rules.
