The 1:1 Aide, Lynde School position is onsite in Buffalo, NY, with compensation of $17.50 per hour. The Day School Treatment Program supports K–12 students facing behavioral, social, and emotional challenges. The aide provides individualized support with behavior management, academics, and daily routines under the educational team’s guidance. By helping implement student behavior plans, curriculum, and IEP goals, the role supports a safe, inclusive classroom and student progress.

What you'll do

• Support student behavioral plans and therapeutic interventions aligned with TCI training and treatment plans
• provide individualized and small-group academic support based on teacher direction and IEP goals
• supervise assigned students
• communicate with teachers and related service providers
• assist with classroom activities and family engagement in coordination with the teacher
• document incidents, interventions, and observations
• participate in training and professional development.

Why this role

Full-time, 12-month position with a Monday–Friday schedule of 7:45 a.m.–2:45 p.m. High school diploma and a valid New York State driver’s license are required; TCI training is referenced for restraint use.
