Mechanical Estimator

The Mechanical Estimator role is onsite in Houston, TX. Compensation is not specified. The estimator joins Eagle Mechanical’s pre-construction team, supporting mechanical bids and Satterfield & Pontikes conceptual and design-phase budgets. The role exists to produce accurate, documented estimates that support bid decisions, project buyout, and the credibility of budgets presented to clients.

What you'll do

• Perform quantity takeoffs for mechanical scopes
• prepare conceptual and design-phase budgets with documented assumptions and allowances
• conduct subcontractor and vendor outreach
• level bids and document scope gaps
• review specifications and identify conflicts
• maintain bid-period requests for information
• solicit and evaluate equipment quotes
• develop labor units and productivity factors
• produce estimates using Destini Estimator.
