CARES Clinician — PRN/Part-Time

The CARES Clinician role is hybrid and community-based, with office locations in Lewes, Dover, and Wilmington, DE. Compensation is $18–$50 per hour. Delaware Guidance Services provides behavioral health services for children and families across Delaware. Under the Crisis Coordinator’s supervision, the clinician provides assessment and intensive therapeutic intervention to youth and families experiencing acute psychological or emotional challenges, supporting stabilization and transition to other services.

What you'll do

• Assess and develop treatment goals
• use risk-management skills and recognize suicide and harm-to-others warning signs
• plan for safety and provide evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions
• deliver solution-focused and trauma-informed services
• communicate with the DPBHS team and other stakeholders
• maintain complete and timely case documentation from intake through discharge
• travel to client locations.
