Order Prep Lead

The Order Prep Lead role is onsite in Cumberland, MD, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The position supports the Operations / Production department’s work preparing and processing project orders involving chemical compounds. The lead coordinates work orders and daily workflows from receipt through completion, while supporting safe chemical handling, accurate inventory, and timely shipping. The role also assists the Site Manager with production-team coordination, training, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Prepare daily work orders and distribute assignments
• coordinate project orders and monitor requirements, priorities, and deadlines
• receive, ship, store, register, and handle chemical compounds
• prepare shipping documents and labels
• process weigh requests and capture tare, gross, and order weights
• maintain inventory records
• support production-team training and workflow direction
• maintain a clean, safe work area and follow procedures and quality standards
• support process improvement.
