MRI Technologist PRN This is an onsite position in Independence, MO. Compensation is not specified. This role exists to perform routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies, presenting images and patient information to the Radiologist for diagnostic reports.

What you'll do

• The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies.
• The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.
• You will compassionately assist and position patients.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release patients with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.

Experience

2-3 years MRI experience preferred.
