Prep Cook (Part-Time)

The Prep Cook role is onsite in Longmont, CO. Compensation is $17.98–$20.59 per hour. The Peaks Care Center seeks to provide residents with high-quality, nutritious meals. The cook prepares and serves meals according to approved menus, recipes, and residents’ dietary guidelines, helping ensure safe, timely dining and smooth kitchen operations. The role also supports special events and maintains kitchen sanitation and food safety standards.

What you'll do

• Review daily menus and event calendars for ingredients and supplies
• prepare meals to residents’ dietary needs using standardized recipes
• serve food with proper portion control
• assist with special event meals
• manage portions and leftovers to reduce waste and control costs
• follow sanitation, food safety, storage, recordkeeping, and chemical-handling regulations
• operate kitchen equipment safely
• maintain clean, organized cooler and freezer spaces
• complete daily cleaning assignments.

Why this role
