Sports League Director

The director builds and leads sports programming across Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley’s 30+ Clubs. The role creates consistent youth sports leagues and sampling programs, while coordinating coaches, facilities, events, and safety. It contributes to youth health, well-being, character, and leadership by helping young people participate in sports and continue playing.

What you'll do

• Design and launch a consistent league framework across 30+ Clubs, including seasons, age divisions, rules, and schedules.
• Manage registration, rosters, team placement, and games.
• Recruit, train, and support coaches, officials, and volunteers.
• Direct the AZ Plays Sports Sampling curriculum and train Youth Development Professionals.
• Coordinate facility rentals, camps, tournaments, budgets, promotion, and sponsor reporting.
• Track participation, retention, program quality, and family feedback.
• Travel between Club, school, sports, and community sites.
