What you'll do

  • Maintain and update preference cards and mnemonics
  • review upcoming surgical cases for correct cards, scheduling, special needs, and conflicts
  • create, modify, or delete cards and groups
  • adjust pick lists
  • coordinate card changes with service heads, supply chain, item master, and sterile processing
  • support surgeon onboarding
  • maintain equipment pools and cards
  • prepare reports
  • audit cards and pick lists
  • attend daily huddles with nursing, service, sterile processing, and surgical materials leaders.
