Warehouse & Shop Assistant

Job overview

The Warehouse & Shop Assistant is an onsite, full-time position in Hagerstown, MD. Compensation is $15–$18 per hour. The role supports Culligan Water of Hagerstown’s service and installation teams and helps keep the warehouse and shop ready for their work. The assistant receives, organizes, and stages inventory and equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work area. The role also helps prepare materials for customer installations and offers an opportunity to learn about water treatment and develop warehouse and mechanical skills.

What you'll do

• Receive, unload, organize, and put away inventory
• track stock
• stage parts and materials for service and installation jobs
• operate a forklift to move deliveries and materials
• assist technicians with loading and unloading
• maintain warehouse and shop cleanliness
• prepare equipment for installations
• handle water treatment materials and chemicals according to safety procedures
• conduct inventory counts.

Why this role

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with an eight-hour day shift. Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 80 pounds and have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; forklift experience is preferred, with training potentially available.
